Scena is surrounded by orchads and located on a sunny hill above Merano – 600 meters above the sea level. The community of Scena is extended over an area of 48 sqkm. It begins at the border of Merano (300m) and reaches to the mountain tops of Sarentino alps – the mountain Cervina (2.781 m) and the mountain Ivigna (2.581 m). Besides the town centre (600 m) there are 6 other communities which are part of the South Tyrolean community Scena: Verdines, S. Giorgio, Monte Scena, Videgg, Talle di Sotto and Talle di Sopra (from 716 m to 1.536 m above the sea level). Every part of the community delights by it’s characteristic beauty.
